Unplanned

A mix of some pictures I took today and on Monday after riding down to the marina. I had planned on getting some nice shots of the orange-colored roses I've been admiring on the way in to work each morning. I wasn't happy with the way the color looked so I decided on the pink rose instead.

Natural Bridge

Visiting the Natural Bridge outside of Lexington, VA has been on my "to do" list for quite some time. I stopped in today on my way home from Tennessee. The bridge is quite impressive and hard to capture in pictures.

Back in Black and White

I was recently reunited with my little Canon Digital Elph. One of the many things I like about this camera is how easy it is to switch to black and white.

White Peonies

I thought about this peony today as I looked outside at the brilliant sun shining. I was sure it would be open by the time I got back home. How nice that I wasn't disappointed.

Change in Plans

I started off in search of Herons at Lyndon Johnson Park. It wasn't long before a steady rain chased me home where I was able to catch the sights out back. The Blue Jays have been regular visitors the past few days. I love the contrast of the blue and white in the fourth picture.
