The Air Force Memorial commands the skyline around the Pentagon. It's hard not to take a second look when driving by on the highway. Up close it's just as commanding and the platform it stands on provides a great view of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery and the DC Monuments. I was here just before sunset so the light was tough to work with. The first picture is a tad blurry, mostly because my hands were freezing and a bit unsteady. I like the view of the Washington Monument in the background so I decided to post it anyway.
