Glen Echo Park

At one time Glen Echo park was a popular amusement park that entertained people in the Washington area. The amusement park closed down in 1968. These days it's cared for by the National Park Service and the home to a variety of artistic and cultural programs.
There wasn't too much going on there today, but I enjoyed walking around trying to picture what it might have looked like back in its heyday.

Mt. Vernon

Back in my own space

The weekend gave me a lot of time to experiment with my new camera. I'm not feeling quite so overwhelmed as I was a week ago. It's been fun, fun, fun.

Inside
