The second chance was very lucky. At first I was frustrated because once again the bird was quicker than the photographer. I like the motion that comes across.
I've had a little more luck with birds the last few days. The rooftop bird isn't such a great shot, but I laughed when I looked up to find the origin of all the squawking I'd been hearing.
I braved the crowds and walked around the Tidal Basin for about an hour this evening. DC is a beautiful place in the spring. Walking around the Tidal Basin with the Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom always reminds me why I like living here.
Today I discovered birds take patience and time. I had the patience, just not the time. Squirrels, on the other hand, are a bit slower and seem to be everywhere around my house.
