Was planning on going to Union Station today to take pictures but didn't get there. I did a house walk around this afternoon and came up with pretty much nothing...but this.

A Stop at the Hardware Store

I love wandering around hardware stores. The big ones are okay, but my favorite hardware stores are the small, local places. One with a wooden floor is even better. I like looking at the small drawers filled with screws, nuts and bolts of all sizes. An odd pleasure I know.

Wiscasset, ME

I tried, but did not succeed in, getting pictures that I liked today. These are from my time spent in Maine this summer. The title is a bit misleading. The last picture was taken in Camden, not Wiscasset.

Unprepared

These are my first attempt at nighttime photography. I was prepared with tripod and extra battery. One thing I didn't have was gloves. With temperatures at about 34F and the wind blowing I didn't last too long. So, not much time to think about anything other than how cold my fingers were.
